John Sodoma oral histories, 1966-1968.

In this interview, John Sodoma discusses his experiences growing sugar beets. Topics include: negotiations between the Finger Lakes Sugar Beet Growers Association and the Empire State Sugar Company; boron deficiency in beets; and his methods of planting, weeding, and harvesting his crop. Mr. Sodoma also discusses his impressions of F.H. Vahlsing, Jr.
